Description |
Speaking of the Chinese proverb from An Epigraph in Praise of My Humble Home: “A lake needn’t be deep; It has supernatural power so long as there is a dragon in it.” Maybe the paper relic like poems or rare old books seem not as interesting as the artifacts like painting, calligraphy, or antiquities, but the content and meaning they carry are clearer, which makes them as valuable as other artifacts.
The name of the exhibition points out two main themes of the contents: Sazum, a graceful place with outstanding scenery and abundant culture, and The Tibetan Dragon Sutra, which is rich in the beauty of rare book art.
