Bangkok Emporium & Emquartier Shopping Mall – Building Light Sculpture Show
Date of Completion | May, 2015
Location | Thailand, Bangkok Emporium & Emquartier Shopping Mall
Client | The Mall Group Thailand
Scope of Work | Sculpture Mapping System Design and Planning
Description |
Bangkok Emporium & Emquartier Shopping Mall is built by The Mall Group, combing the concept of EM District with three buildings. It is directly connected to Phrom Phong, the busiest BTS subway station in Bangkok, and has quickly become the hottest new landmark in Bangkok.
Coxor had a pioneering creative concept for the façade of the three buildings. We took the building as a huge painting canvas, draw on them with light and mapping projection, and stretch the space to the unlimited virtual world. It became the only permanent sculpture mapping building in the world.
The sculpture mapping not only creates an environment of fashion and art with videos but also brings a surprising experience for customers by the timed light show. In addition, as a large-scale advertising media for high-end luxury brands, it shines brightly with the light of technology and art.
